ELIT, a family business founded in 1932, today employs 64 people at its Brindas site (69126). Renowned for its expertise in insulation, ELIT offers tailor-made solutions for thermal protection, soundproofing, heating and temperature maintenance.
The "Flexible Solutions" department designs and manufactures insulating mattresses. Composed of a technical fabric envelope and an insulating material, mattresses are used to insulate industrial equipment (valves, filters, exchangers, etc.). As part of an increase in its activity, the "Flexible Solutions" department is recruiting to strengthen its teams.
Working in a modern workshop and reporting to the "Confection" team leader, your tasks will be as follows:
- Use of industrial sewing machines
- Assembly, stitching and sewing operations on fabric cut-outs
- Fitting accessories (buckles, straps, labels, etc.)
- Mattress filling (operation of inserting insulating material into the textile envelope)
- Self-monitoring of mattresses
Qualities and skills required :
- You are dynamic, autonomous and versatile.
- You have a first experience in sewing acquired in a company, during a training course or as a hobby.
- You understand written and spoken French and are able to express yourself orally in French.
Working conditions :
- 37h50 per week. Overtime possible depending on workload and on a voluntary basis.
- Opening hours :
- Monday to Thursday: 8.00am - 12.15pm then 1.15pm - 5.15pm
- Friday: 8.00am - 12.30pm
