INSULFLEX heating mats are designed to heat and/or maintain the temperature of industrial equipment. Custom-built on our premises in Brindas (69126), our heating mats guarantee even heat distribution, reduce energy losses and ensure optimum plant safety.
They can be used in industrial environments with complex constraints (ATEX zones, weather conditions, clean rooms, etc.) and can be adapted to any shape or size.

Concept / Technique
- Heating mats are made up of :
- An envelope made of a technical fabric chosen according to the equipment's operating conditions and environment (indoor, outdoor, ATEX zone, clean room, mechanical resistance requirements, etc.).
- A flexible insulating lining of a thickness and type suited to the equipment's operating temperatures.
- One or more heating elements sewn to the inside of the mattress or integrated as required (cords, ribbons, films, etc.).
- Temperature sensor (on request)
- A control system (optional); digital control box or single- or multi-zone PID control box.
- A fastening system that ensures that the insulating mattresses stay in place and are easy to assemble and disassemble:
- Velcro-type fasteners
- buckles and straps
- ratchets and lacing
- eyelets and turnstiles
- ... - An identification label on each mattress to identify the different markings for easier installation.
- If the shape is too complex or access too difficult, an alternative can be proposed: a heated enclosure (or proofing tent), consisting of a removable aluminum structure to which insulating mats are attached. The volume is then heated by 2500W hot-air generators.
Materials used
Each heating mattress is made-to-measure.
Our technicians define the materials to be used in response to a given problem, mainly taking into account the required operating temperatures, the power of the heating cables used, mechanical constraints and the environment (clean room, ATEX, bad weather, etc.).
Our range of materials covers operating temperatures from 10°C to 1300°C.
