Technical foams are insulating materials offering excellent thermal and acoustic performance for a variety of industrial applications. Available in closed or open cell versions, they provide effective protection against temperature variations, vibrations and noise, while guaranteeing optimum lightness.

CLOSED-CELL FOAM FAMILY
(Density: 60 to 200 Kg/m³)

Features

Closed-cell foams have a watertight structure, preventing the penetration of fluids and providing excellent thermal insulation at low temperatures.

Types of foam :

  • PVC foam, PET foam, PEI foam, PMI foam, FOMGLASS foam (glass cell), Silicone foam, PE foam
  • Temperature range: -194°C to +160°C
  • Advantages: low density, high mechanical strength, thermal stability

Main applications :

  • Pipe support: effective insulation of pipes subject to significant thermal variations.
  • Insulating liquid nitrogen tanks: maintaining ultra-low temperatures in cryogenic environments.
  • Climatic chambers: reduce heat exchange to ensure stable conditions.

OPEN CELL FOAM FAMILY
(Density: 10 to 60 Kg/m³)

Features

Open-cell foams are lighter, providing better sound absorption while remaining self-supporting. They are ideal for applications requiring thermal insulation and/or noise reduction.

Types of foam :

  • V3012 foam, Polyurethane foam, PIR foam
  • Temperature range: 20°C to 200°C
  • Advantages: very low density, effective sound absorption, structure adaptable to complex shapes

Main applications :

  • Acoustic insulation: reducing industrial noise pollution.
  • Substitution for rock wool: a lighter, moisture-resistant alternative.
