About ELIT and the Position

ELIT is a family-owned business founded in 1932.

The company has 64 employees at its Brindas facility.

ELIT designs custom solutions for thermal insulation, soundproofing, reheating, and temperature maintenance.

The Flexible Solutions department designs and manufactures insulating mattresses for industrial equipment.

Due to an increase in business, the department is hiring to expand its teams.

The position is based in a modern workshop and reports to the Apparel Production Team Leader.

Your responsibilities

• Use industrial sewing machines.
• Perform the assembly, basting, and sewing of fabric pieces.
• Attach accessories such as buckles, straps, and tags.
• Fill the mattresses by inserting the insulation material into the fabric cover.
• Perform a self-inspection of the mattresses.

Desired profile

• You are energetic, self-reliant, and versatile.
• You have some initial experience in sewing, gained through work, training, or as a hobby.
• You understand written and spoken French.
• You are able to speak French.

Working Conditions

• The workweek is 37 hours and 50 minutes.
• Overtime may be offered depending on the workload.
• Overtime is worked on a voluntary basis.

Hours

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Recruitment Process
