- Maintain a defined temperature on pipes, tanks, valves or vats to avoid any change in condition (crystallization, condensation, etc.).
- Prevent frost by guaranteeing a minimum temperature (often set at 5°C)
- Reheat a product or piece of equipment by raising its temperature to a higher level within a controlled timeframe.
