STUMATITE is a natural alumina silicate also known as pyrophyllite.
Machined raw, the material acquires excellent mechanical, thermal and dielectric properties once heat-treated in our furnaces.
Its density is between 2.9 and 2.65 depending on the firing temperature.
STUMATITE remains dimensionally stable up to 1250°C.
Easily machinable, this alumina silicate is particularly well suited to the replacement of small and medium-sized technical ceramic parts obtained by molding and grinding.
Machined on CNC machines, achievable dimensional tolerances are ± 0.025 mm.
Used for new equipment, equipment to be modified, equipment to be repaired, as grommets, bulkhead feed-throughs, supports for resistors, inductors, barrels, injector noses, welding nozzles...
STUMATITE can be enamelled as required.
